Course #AP412:General Appraiser Site Valuation and Cost Approach (30 Hours Qualifying Education - Tested)Text: General Appraiser Site Valuation and Cost Approach (Dearborn) This course is designed to guide the appraiser or appraiser trainee through a practical application of case studies utilizing the Cost Approach to Value including Site Valuation. The student will review the applicable portions of USPAP and apply the proper methods and techniques for analysis in each property type. The course is AQB approved through Cengage and is a requirement for the Certified General Appraiser Credential. Course Objective: To enable the student to demonstrate proper understanding of the principles, methods and techniques that apply to Site Valuation and the Cost Approach to Value when analyzing commercial property. Prerequisites: AP101, AP102 and AP103 or equivalent This course meets the qualifying education criteria for the State of Iowa Approved for both Qualifying and Continuing Education in Nebraska (Approval #CG/005) |
