Course #AP411:Practical Application of Agricultural Appraisal (30 Hours Qualifying Education - Tested)This course is designed to provide advanced level instruction for those students interested in learning to apply agricultural real property appraisal techniques and developing USPAP compliant reporting skills. It also serves as an excellent review for appraisers currently doing agricultural appraisal work. The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice are utilized in the course with emphasis on compliance. Students will develop an agricultural appraisal and a write a summary appraisal report. All three approaches to value are utilized in the appraisal process as well as an analysis of Highest and Best Use. A basic report format is provided to the student as part of the course. Each student must submit the appraisal report to successfully complete the course. Course Objective: To demonstrate the application of agricultural appraisal concepts through the development of an appraisal and the reporting of the results. This course meets the new AQB Criteria (2008) for General Appraiser Report Writing and Case Studies. It also meets the current Nebraska requirement for Narrative Appraisal Report Writing.
