Qualifications of the Instructor:Matthew J. ‘Joe’ Wilson holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the State of Nebraska and holds the GRPA Designation from the Mid-West Appraisers Association. Joe has been in the real estate appraisal business since 1974 and has owned/managed his own companies since 1990. He has taught real estate appraisal since 1977 for Nebraska Wesleyan University, Mid-West Appraisers Association and several proprietary real estate schools. Joe has served on the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board from 1996-2000 and was chair of the Board in 1998. He was re-appointed to the Board in 2006 for an additional five year term. Additionally, Joe has served on the Lincoln/Lancaster County Planning Commission 1994-1999, the Lincoln/Lancaster County Board of Zoning Appeals 1997-1998, and the Lancaster County Assessor’s Valuation Review Committee 1998. |
